It is fascinating how Islam is so frequently conflated with Arabness. Sometimes there is even an implied moral failure for those who are Muslim but not Arab, which leads to forced Arabization in many non Arab communities. Despite the historical reality that the vast majority of Muslims globally are not Arab and haven’t been for 80% of Islam’s history.

I understand that negative polarization and trauma can be powerful influences and be respectful of peoples views in that context but there is something wrong with Iranian exile monarchists literally cheering for foreign powers to destroy the basic infrastructure of their country. Here a journalist for Israel and Gulf-supported Iran International says that it will be fine if Iran is sent back to the "Stone Age" as long as the son of the deposed former king rules the country. This can only be described as fanaticism of the sort that the MEK was later chastised for engaging in during the Iran-Iraq war and maybe even worse.
