Everyone on here is talking about AI. I’m too busy implementing it across multiple industries. I document what actually happens when AI hits real companies. The gap between the demo and Monday morning. The parts no vendor will show you. Follow for the field report, not the hype.

Excluding the hard-core doomsday scenarios, never forget that it is not the AI that will negatively impact humanity. It is how humanity reacts, and our society behaves. Basically, the threat is coming from us to ourselves.

@kimmonismus The window of arbitration and opportunity would probably be around 3-4 years. Never underestimate the inertia of the society and organisations.

@PeterDiamandis The future I want is the one where the relevancy is clearly visible. It’s one where they understand what to delegate and what to keep human. That judgment gap is where all the value will be.

In case you haven’t heard, we put up $3.5M+ to source optimistic visions of the future. We don’t care who you are or where you are. Tell me… what future do you want for your children?

You might be pitching your client on how sexy automated robot integration will be, but they are probably still trying to migrate to Fivetran. Sure, do your pilot, but find a real-world problem to solve first. The hyped agenda is very different from what is going on in the field now.

@KhalilBabilli man love seeing this/loved reading this. reading for cognitive formation rather than simple consumption is a vital point.

As AI-generated slop floods our screens, the marginal value of new text is collapsing. This is precisely why we must return to the classics. Classical works survived not because they were novel, but because they were dense: intellectually compressed, ethically serious, stylistically refined. Homer, Thucydides, Ibn Khaldun, Shakespeare, Montaigne: these texts train judgment, not pattern recognition. In an age where machines can write endlessly, reading the classics is an act of cognitive relevance: choosing depth over noise, formation over consumption, and wisdom over output.

Read the classics, pursue long-form writing, and focus on aesthetics. You will be different, you will be fine.

Elon Musk just confirmed when humans exit the AI development loop entirely. Not eventually. Not theoretically. He gave a date. Musk: “Humans are gradually getting less and less in the loop on the recursive self-improvement. Every successive model is built by the one before it.” The market still assumes thousands of engineers are hand-coding the next frontier model. The compute already took over the build. Musk: “That is happening to a large degree, but it’s not yet fully automated. It may be there, if not this year, but not later than next year.” Once biological friction is fully automated out of the loop, the AI arms race detaches from human comprehension. Permanently. Global markets are still planning for a gradual transition. That timeline is already dead. Interviewer: “Do you see a hard takeoff at that point?” Musk: “We’re in the hard takeoff. Right now.” Musk: “I go to sleep, there’s some massive AI breakthrough. And when I wake up there’s another one.” You don’t outrun autonomous, self-improving intelligence by hiring more biological engineers. By the time the hiring sprint finishes, the model has already iterated into something the job description can’t describe. The architects of intelligence are no longer biological. And the thing building itself didn’t ask for the job.

i just woke up my daughter (2yo) to tell her i'd just discovered a new agentic AI framework that will 10x my productivity rubbing her eyes, she said, “dad, you haven't shipped a single meaningful feature that supports our KPIs for FY26. i'm struggling to believe a new framework you haven't tested will deliver meaningful shareholder value” hugging her, i started crying. they grow up so fast.

It’s a crazy market. People are being laid off in large numbers and struggling to find new jobs. Meanwhile, companies are unable to fill their vacancies. The gap between the workforce's skills and what is actually needed is huge.

this is fucking WILD. Nvidia just dropped an article breaking down how AI works at an industrial level (save this): >AI runs on 5 layers: energy → chips → infrastructure → models → applications >we’re a few hundred billion in. trillions still need to be built >this buildout needs electricians, plumbers, steelworkers. not just engineers >every company will use it. every nation will build it stop calling it a tech trend. this is a full scale industrial revolution and most will catch on but by then it’s too late.

@KhalilBabilli @slimer48484 The actual variable is capital, which runs ahead of society and governance until they catch up and restrain it. Currently, it is directed by humans, and we're load-bearing in its implementation. We're currently in the process of building capital which can direct and build itself.

What would it be like during fast-takeoff? "Imagine being a typical person living in England from 1520 to 2020 (500 years) but experiencing time 100x slower than everyone else"
