@Softwilly I honestly couldn't tell you why so I guess this is irrational, but almost every time after realising that a video is old footage I click off. HOWEVER if I'm explicitly told it's old footage in the intro I keep watching so I guess it a transparency thing

i’ve always been curious about this, does the age of footage matter for a youtube video? if it was filmed a week, month, maybe even a year ago, does it matter to you? is it one of those things you don’t want to watch if it’s not recent? or do you just not care at all & want to watch something?

@OffcutM76285 It goes both ways honestly, you search for "video editor" and you see multiple obviously ai generated hiring posts by the same account with <5 followers and then you also see bots replying with portfolios because they reply to any post with "hiring editor" in it automatically

Is it just me or is X full of fake "looking for a video editor" posts? Every time I apply, I either get a bot reply or they ask me to do a "quick sample edit" that's completely unpaid. Feels like they're collecting free edits from dozens of editors instead of actually hiring anyone.
