I actually really like the new UCL format, it’s exciting, fun, and UEFA got most of it right. But there’s one part I would change: the advantage given for finishing in the top 8 during the league phase.
Right now, it’s frustrating because a team like Atleti, who didn’t finish in the top 8, can still get the second leg at home simply by winning one tie. How does winning a single knockout tie cancel out the advantage you got from consistency and effort of eight matches? It doesn’t make any sense.
If UEFA truly wants teams to take the league phase seriously, they need to make finishing in the top 8 actually meaningful and rewarding.

If Barça advance to the semis, they will also play the return leg away from home because in the other matchup you have Arsenal (1st). So whether Arsenal or Sporting advances, they'll have home advantage.

🚨 I’ve had time to think about it and I won’t lie, EA have probably done the right thing not releasing an unlimited grind i.e the 82x25.
In fairness, everyone packed TOTYs in the 82x20 last year, let’s say it how it is. It did ruin the longevity of the game and power curve. With that, excitement for new promos stays, there be players and evos every new promo that definitely will fit people’s squads which is good.

I completely agree with Chou here, I can say with full confidence that the game isnt bad because of Pro feedback, its quite clear EA prioritise community feedback over them
Pros want the game with a high skill gap, and if you dont want that then thats fine, but all the changes that have been made have been reducing the skill gap, so this isnt on the Pros at all
EA obviously have to balance all feedback because no one area is right, but in general you will find all Pros do is ask for a balanced game with a notable skill gap to make the game rewards
The casual community generally dont want to learn how to improve and they want things easier, which its a fair want if you only want to play casual
Right now tho, the state of the game is on the casual players

Me ha salido este video en TikTok y en redes en general veo opiniones de este estilo y si piensas esto es que no tienes ni puta idea y encima presumes de ser un ignorante. EA escucha a la comunidad casual, no a los Pros, desgraciadamente, a ver si os creéis que no nos llevamos quejando tiempo de la CPU. Quitaron el technical cuando ni un Pro se quejó y volvió porque lo pidió la comunidad Casual. Quitaron el time finishing cuando ni un Pro lo pidió. Y miles de ejemplos así. Lo peor es que cuando bajen la CPU tendremos a la comunidad quejándose de que no puede defender y volverán a tocarla para complacer a gente que no sabe del juego y no sabe ni lo que pide. Nosotros nos adaptamos a lo que pide el juego pero desgraciadamente no tenemos nada de poder para que sea a nuestro gusto, lo que sería lo mejor para todos ya que sería un juego con skill gap real y separando y marcando mucho los modos. Ahora mismo los modos son muy tryhard para los casual (eso os leo) y muy aburridos para los tryhard, supongo que también será culpa de los Pros por quejarse de que el FUT Champions tenía menos gracia que jugar temporadas offline en FIFA 18 (para mí el problema no se reducía al matchmaking, sino a que es un modo casual aburrido cuando en su día era EL modo) Si realmente crees que los Pros somos el problema de este juego no tienes ni puta idea y estás repitiendo lo que dicen tres idiotas que tampoco tienen puta idea.
