The Russian-owned “crowdinvesting” firm Solar Group Limited has spent years recruiting investors around the EU and around the world with an urgent, exciting pitch. Solar Group says investor funds will help its Moscow-based subsidiary develop energy-efficient electric motors that can benefit any industry.
