If you chose to interpret this as moralizing fictional actions you’re missing the point intentionally. I’m just pointing out that Warcraft storytelling basically doesn’t take morality into consideration.
They often just arbitrarily designate one side as Good and one as Bad.

One of the weirdest, VERY consistent things WoW does is that innocents, civilians often, will fall to some form of Corruption™️ and end up as quest mobs to thoughtlessly mow down.
Conversely, if someone is literal Giga Hitler, they get a novel and 2 xpacks of redemption arc.

It's wild to me looking back at how many times we usually spare a character in Warcraft (which isn't often) and it's usually against foes who really just do not deserve it. Sometimes we really should spare characters. Not everyone deserves death too (Trolls especially).

@sef__breadbanky @chewyeclipse All criticism is subjective, that’s how it works. A criticism you don’t agree with doesn’t make it objectively a “bad criticism”.
People need to learn to live with seeing opinions they don’t share when it comes to inconsequential stuff like a video game.

@chewyeclipse I mean you very rarely see a good/objective critique of wow/blizzard. Usually its full of subjective emotions that doesnt corrlate to reality/are not representitve of big chunk of players. I think most of ppl who actually care are tired of the same talking points they saw 10times

@chewyeclipse Humans have a tendency to blend their identity and ego with external things, especially when they’re unfulfilled internally. You will not find many WoW players who are fulfilled internally.
So you criticize WoW, and their brain can’t differentiate WoW with their own identity.

This one is wild cuz it misses about every mark possible.
1. Content creators were some of the loudest voices praising Shadowlands and if others did it was typically cuz they were followers.
2. Literally nobody criticized the art of SL.

Hablarán pestes de #Shadowlands aquellos que en su mayoría tienen una opinión de ella por que su streamer favorito dice X o Y, pero mucha otra gente con criterio propio sabe que por ejemplo, las zonas de SL son infinitamente mejores que muchas expansiones.

@Mythoral @Khorgnir I don't think WoD is worse than Shadowlands. Even WoD with the cuts is still a fun ride & isn't offensive. Shadowlands is downright an offensive experience to most and definitely to me.
I still return to WoD on purpose to level through it. WoD is good! Just sadly lacking a lot.

@Khorgnir I mean all WoW zones are beautiful but I had to think about it for a few minutes and I couldn't think of a zone I like from Shadowlands that beats most other expansions.

@Skoll_Shorties Yeah I think this post also greatly exaggerates the quality of SL visuals, honestly. It was its strong suit but it still doesn’t meet the level of other expansions imo.

@Khorgnir I'm more bewildered by the idea and factoid that somebody thinks Shadowlands mogs zones of other expansions. When it just does not. Even TBC zones artistically beat it by a mile.
Shadowlands beats NO other expansions art-wise I feel.
