It's been 7 months since we had our baby and we're still receiving unexplained hospital bills in the mail. Hardly ever an adequate description of services. Just a QR code to pay online. It feels intentionally confusing and difficult to get answers. We want price transparency.

Embarrassing take. Cassie, a mother, spent a majority of her shift watching a fellow mother slowly die and say goodbye to her children and then MISSED her passing away. Javadi not only almost accidentally caused a patients death but has been lambasted by her mother multiple times in front of others for not knowing what her future plans are, and had to be the one to watch Cassie’s patient die! Perlah was very close with Louie (who had a passion for fireworks) and was too distraught by his death to even be able to clean his body and is now being reminded of him with the fireworks. Her fellow nurse was also taken in by ICE and she’s spent time trying to find him.. and she’s watching fireworks to symbolize “freedom” in a country where people are losing it. Dana had to conduct a r*pe kit, find out the last few that were done were never collected and justice for the victims wasn’t being served, she then had to watch a nurse that she felt protective of and responsible for get assaulted TWICE on her first day and be confronted by her boss about her own unprocessed trauma from her own assault by a patient, that has left her so fearful almost a year later that she carries around something to knock him out in case he ever returns to harm her. The last few hours of their shift being about paperwork and charting is an oversimplification and stupid, and just because they go through it every day doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt or have an impact. Ask anyone who goes through things that it usually comes out when you finally have a moment to breathe.. like on a rooftop with your friends watching fireworks. Also it was filmed before the finale but they all knew where their arcs were headed (the season was almost over) and what headspace they needed to be in for the scene. They didn’t just drop them on the roof and say “emote, we’ll figure it out later” that’s not how it works.
