@HonByamukama Minister @MoWT_Uganda together with the Minister of State for Transport, @Hon. Julius Wandera Maganda, convened a stakeholder engagement meeting with representatives of vehicle dealers, motorcycle importers, clearing and forwarding agents, and the Ministry’s technical team to address the persistent delays in the issuance of digital number plates. During the meeting, stakeholders openly shared the challenges affecting the sector, while the Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to resolving the backlog. Key interventions agreed upon include; _Auditing the current digital number plate issuance system. _ Assessing contractor capacity, improving transparency and accountability. _Streamlining the vehicle registration process. _Strengthening communication with stakeholders.

Today we had our Accountability Day and it was hosted at the new Lwamata Seed School in Lwamata Subcounty. Today is when the Annual Financial reports to the District LG is shared with the stakeholders and local citizens.

Ministry of Energy & Mineral Development @MEMD_Uganda is carrying out a Geo-Chemical Survey in different districts including Kiboga District. The delegated team lead by Mr. Muhwezi Denis, will carry out this survey in the different subcounties, an exercise that will take 40 days

Kiboga District recieved over 100 tablets distributed by @UCC_Official to the people of Kayanja Village under Universal Services and Access Fund (UCUSAF) The tablets will aid the community to embrace ICT and stimulate development in their area. @MoLGUganda @UgandaMediaCent
