@RealJayWilliams All they’ve done is make the whole organization about their relationship
Every player/teammate has a line were they get tired of your personal life being the front story of the team
The team starting w/TMZ drama before the season even starts
English

Definitely a fair question but she and her team definitely have the right to decline answering it as well. Both things can be true at the same time.
Sage Steele@sagesteele
It’s a FAIR QUESTION! If 2 NBA players on the same team were dating, do you actually think media wouldn’t ask abt how their relationship could affect the team dynamic? Gimme a break. No need to coddle them. They’re professional athletes..who say they want equal treatment, right?!
English

@debotten161225 She’s not being pushed out
This major issue is she will not stand up for herself & tries to please everyone under the false umbrella of loyalty
Folk will use her up until she’s a mental basketcase or she decides to put her career/herself before everyone else
English

@MattDowellTV It's not even about basketball
It's about the Black Woman's Empowerment clique never accepting Clark because she's white & is the name talked about all the time & as always, these black females "feel" disrespected because that's how they were taught surrounding any white woman

Another takeaway from this: I think it was cool that Aliyah said she and Caitlin talked about that Final Four game and how that was necessary to move forward as teammates. And how fans have more beef than the players do.
College is college. Pros is the pros. Life moves on.
Grant Young@GrvntYoung
Aliyah Boston talking about the Caitlin Clark and Raven Johnson teammate dynamic with the Fever “I think it’s going to be fine… it literally doesn’t matter.” 🎥: @PostMovesShow
English

@Iowa_Recruiting We just watch many players from power schools not even get a chance at WNBA
Clark did this with Iowa
Go to a school were you can develop while being you & not a piece in a coach's scheme
Best thing to do if you have any Pro desires, go to a school were you can cut loose
English

@AshNicoleMoss With more money come increased "accountability" & WNBA players hate being held accountable to provide their own receipts and not just copies of Caitlin Clark's receipts
Welcome to the "original" barbershop version of Sports Talk/Conversation
English

@EWeezy_For3eezy Data shows most black Professional athletes are broke by the time their playing days end
You're eating off Clark's plate, so deflate the empty ego because you're literally at the end of your playing days
- too much younger, better talent that will improve the on-court product
English

@EWeezy_For3eezy Without these fans there's no making nothing
What money does is highlight the ungrateful attitude of most WNBA players
Get the big head if you want, thinking money makes you special, because when the playing stops, you're back in the same workforce as other former players
English

@ShamsCharania @Andraya_Carter Can someone point to "one thing" that A'Ja has done to help other players prosper tangibly?
So far I've only seen A'Ja reap any rewards
Like just one thing & name how that player benefited financially
English

A'ja Wilson, the WNBA's first ever four-time MVP, is signing a three-year, $5 million supermax contract to return to the Las Vegas Aces, sources tell me and @Andraya_Carter. The deal, which is the largest in WNBA history to date and fully guaranteed, was negotiated by Jade-Li English of Klutch Sports Group.

English

@srkntnyldz There's a gentleman on YouTube that services the unit that houses the stoplights CPU
He states & showed that if the vehicle goes over or stops too short of the sensor right before the walkway, the CPU will not pick it up to trigger the 5-8sec timer to transition the light
English

@robinlundberg These max/supermax contracts handed out were terrible fiscal actions simply for optics for media to push "million dollar players"
Instead of setting a sound top pay threshold, owners chose optics
Just look at who got $1mil+ contracts, player's that don't bring in league profit
English

@robinlundberg That KM Supermax was a "dumb" contract 100% based on optics in the 1st fiscal year of the new CBA CAP impacting pay scale
$750k should've been the ceiling this 1st year, but we now see why the WNBA wasn't profitable wasn't solely due to the players, but owners/GM's also
English

The money explains the Indiana Fever's free agency
si.com/wnba/fever/ana…
English

@angelayoho1 That's why now in year 3, whatever happens to Clark is 100% on Clark for "choosing" to allow it to happen, she's not a little pre-teen
Everyone, including billionaires stated she had a bad agent strictly from her bad Nike deal, but she "chose" to keep her
It's on Clark TBH
GIF
English

If I was Caitlin Clark’s agent, I might consider a trade request. There maybe better fits to game style & her brand to think about. Indiana front office done nothing but disrespect everything she has done for them. #IndianaFever #WNBA
English

@Spitzanity - She will not be able to back down WNBA C's like she did in college
- She has no elbow/jump shot which is a must do to above
- No 6'7" big has been successful in WNBA yet, they've all lacked either the lateral quickness, jump shot, jumping ability or strength to be impactful
English

I still cannot fathom that LB wasn’t the consensus 1.1, let alone 4th overall
WNBA@WNBA
With the No. 4 pick of the WNBA Draft, the @WashMystics select Lauren Betts! 2026 #WNBADraft presented by State Street Investment Management SPY!
English

@sohali2012 Go re-watch the games again on YouTube
Reeves often put Phee on the other bigs best player
Elanna couldn't guard them 1-on-1
- tape don't lie
She's best in "Help Defense" not 1-on-1
Boston too strong
A'Ja too athletic
Emeka too crafty
She was an "optics" contract for media
English

@KickNDaPants Alanna guards the best big. She is the Centet not Phee. Alanna needs to be a 4 not a center. Fever would have been perfect
English

@MicahlovesHeda There was no true franchise changing Star player in this draft, media had to fabricate hype
If you put all these draftees in the same draft pool of the combined previous 3-4 Drafts, none of them would even crack the top 12, none
That's how weak this Draft Class was
English

She was also there for the Lynx and the storm. Also, the team that picked her firmly said she is coming off the bench. Clearly she's not the steal of the draft to the GMs and coaches that you think she is.
Saxon Swain@saxonswain7
Dallas, Lauren Betts was right there….
English

@sohali2012 Folk forget, Phee guarded Boston, not Elanna
- Phee guarded A'Ja, not Elanna
- Phee guarded Emeka, not Elanna
System help defenders always look great until they go to another team that doesn't provide the same previous defensive benefits
English

@sohali2012 You would get rid of your own developed draft pick that's over-achieved so much, the entire league would take her in a heartbeat, for a 1-season "system" player
Elanna benefited from Phee guarding the other team's best big which allowed her to roam/help defense
- a bad contract
English

@rhodesrants Its just demonic the “you owe me” ideology in today’s culture, were a $500k (half million) pay increase is seen as some type of disrespect
Folk calling a Blessing a curse
That ankle inury could’ve ended her career & she not get nothing, so hopefully she’s kept perspective
English

@Patryk42823792 @K1_ReBoot Always guys who most likely never competed at a high level, that has the magic answer to a competitor no other fighter or trainer with years of experience thought of
Clearly the length of her legs just escapes ya'll view
Lastly, folk don't grasp how snappy-fast her kick is
English

When you enter Mona World and realize you have no idea what to do! 😂👑 Look back at this hilarious moment where Mona Kimura’s signature one-legged stance completely froze her opponent. Her unique style is just impossible to predict! 🦩🥊 #k1max #k1wgp #k1 #MonaKimura #K1GENKI
English

@ericaf455 No she didn't
Unfortunately, teams didn't have her high on their FA board as fans have elevated her to
They had the players they were interested in and offered contracts based on their roster building desires
Every team started with CAP reductions after initial contracts taken
English
