@crabtree_tyler @RobinhoodApp There are mediation routes through FINRA but they arent totally free. Frankly I wouldve been ok with sorting out stuff that got left behind but buying the shares they say I owe them at the literal 52 wk high just feels like highway robbery. I'm hoping they want to resolve this.

@KiddeMusic @RobinhoodApp The only person I talked to who had this happen before yesterday had it happen two weeks ago. They never got any communication and eventually just ate it

@RobinhoodApp I initiated an account transfer to another brokerage. I now have a closed Robinhood account with NEGATIVE shares. Not only can I not liquidate remaining positions, I cannot buy the shares I 'owe' to close the account. I'm watching the owed shares climb in value.

@crabtree_tyler @RobinhoodApp I've filed an ethics complaint with FINRA but that doesn't help on a personal level. Did those people get any correspondence at all that said tough luck or they just never heard back?

@KiddeMusic @RobinhoodApp I have not. They did the same to me yesterday. The only info I’ve heard so far is from other people who have been thru this who basically said they were stuck with the bill

@crabtree_tyler @RobinhoodApp Have you gotten any response from them? They have since turned around and bought those shares at the 52 week high, I now owe them 1.5k more than I did the previous day.
