@ForensicsFiles I loved the UIL 2019 topic on Artificial Intelligence for impact grounds. -In philosophy circuits sets up nicely for epistemology frameworks. -However some AI systems run without internet (the non-neural networks) so wouldn’t prohibiting internet fail to minimize AI risk?

Resolution: "Resolved: The use of the internet should be prohibited in debate competitions due to the potential risks posed by artificial intelligence." Thoughts?

Lamar Speech signing off on Day 4 of NFA Nationals. I was an octofinalist in extemp and a qualifier in info. Drake Rothenberger and Matthew Sherwin competed in extemp as national qualifiers. We qualified 3 students in our first year as a student run and student funded program.
