Will leave #pafc fans with a positive - seven games to go in the 2022/23 season, we suffered a disappointing home defeat (to Lincoln). We then won our last six games to achieve our goal that season. No reason why the team shouldn't be targeting maximum points from here. COYG

Poor defensive errors cannot be accounted for by the head coach though, and I really believe this defeat has come at a decent time, if a defeat had to come. Refocuses, sharpens the need to be clean and not panic to win games at this level, which was the ultimate reason for defeat

Unpacking Argyle's poor Good Friday defeat the morning after, so a bit calmer. A red card always unsettles the original game plans of both teams, and we know what an in-game wizard Schuey is. Cleverley referenced the need for width in his post-match, but took Edwards and Dale off

21 points from Argyle's last 12. Repeat that again, and the points tally will be 64 with three games left. This team, and its winter run, has such strong echoes of that 17/18 season under Adams - that season, Argyle finished with 68 points, three outside the play-offs. #pafc

In Argyle-related transfer news, anyone seen Miron Muslic has signed a 39-year old Edin Dzeko at Schalke?

A win for treating humans like humans. It's that simple.

A judge has blocked an anti-trans group’s attempt to challenge Hampstead Ponds’ trans-inclusive policy. Campaign group Sex Matters brought a case to the high court last year, claiming that the ponds’ admission of transgender people into single-sex spaces is discriminatory. Yet Mrs Justice Lieven said that the high court was not the proper forum for such a case, which they said should instead be brought by an individual in a county court, rather than by an organisation at the high court. Sex Matters based its case on the supreme court ruling, handed down in April last year, which found that sex as defined in the Equality Act 2010 refers to “biological” men and women, rather than gender, even if one has a gender recognition certificate. The high court ruling keeps Hampstead Ponds in line with public opinion. A recent public consultation by the City of London Corporation, which manages the ponds, received over 38,000 responses, 84% of which were people who use the ponds. 86% of consultation respondents said they supported the ponds’ existing trans-inclusive policy, while 90% rejected the idea of segregating trans swimmers in any way. Maya Forstater, CEO of Sex Matters, told the BBC the result was “deeply unjust”. The group has said it is “considering its legal options”. Trans advocacy group TransLucent said: “Trans inclusion is the norm across the country; now, the government must provide decisive legal clarity, empowering service providers to act inclusively without being held hostage to costly litigation.” The City of London Corporation has allowed trans people to use the ponds – whether mixed, ladies’ or men’s – that best aligns with their gender identity since at least 2017. The corporation is awaiting updated guidance from the Equality and Human Rights Commission on the inclusion of trans people in single-sex spaces.

Argyle are officially massive again, what a football club. Couldn't win away from home for two years, now unbeaten on the road for two months. Pepple and Tolaj my favourite front two since Hayles and Ebanks-Blake. Of course I'm overexcited, but that's what football's about #pafc

Football has a real problem with defensive setups. Excuses made for Ange, despite losing TWENTY TWO league games in 24/5. Frank has never lost that many in one season, even in Brentford's 1st PL szn. Spurs fans, rightly frustrated at lack of creativity, but get some perspective.
Matt Law@Matt_Law_DT

The result was painful, the performance unacceptable but the biggest embarrassment for Tottenham Hotspur was they turned up at Arsenal like they were Tamworth. A piece on the day that showed Thomas Frank has to be braver #thfc telegraph.co.uk/football/2025/…

@RichardAmofa OOP, we were worse when he came on. Pressing wasn't as effective or structured. Rogers better at that.
