@chirurwi @ben_bowman_ Bc they’re different scenarios to a defender stopping a cross or shot which could lead to a goal with the arm is gaining an advantage. Where as this case the defender is clearing it to row Z

@ben_bowman_ It’s a stone wall by their rules and last weeks games . Just like the 2nd yellow the full back should have . Just because you don’t want it to be given doesn’t make it right . You’d be fuming if it was against spurs

@Fuegothecat @cdd84 @footballontnt VAR looked at it and confirmed there was no penalty. Doesn’t matter if the referee saw it or not. So why would he need to check it if it’s a factual rule and not up to the referees interpretation so VAR can make the decision for him.

@StealthyM00S3 @footballontnt Dems the rules 🤷‍♂️ I think in most cases you wouldn’t want those given, can argue about height and arm position but would be cruel to give pens for clearing the ball into your own teammates arm/hand
