Itโs the one thing I dislike about sans and undyne. I get they care about him but sans telling him that all of his dead friends "went on vacation" in the king papyrus ending rubs me the wrong way

This is aimed more at the fandom, but the community isn't entirely to blame for Papyrus's infantilization when even Undyne and Sans do it without realizing it in the game itself

@SinfullyLazy66 Papyrus is a liar throughout the entire game and a people pleaser, I pray every day that the fandom realizes the complexity of Papyrus as a character beyond "Sans' innocent lil brother who makes pasta"

Sans "babies" Papyrus too much. It's one thing too look out for him as the older brother, but in the King Papyrus ending, he literally tells them all his dead friends "went on vacation". That is literally what parents tell their 4 year olds when the pet goldfish dies. ๐ญ
