𝙎𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚𝙨 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 Supporting children with special needs means a lot to me thats why i joined seven Rotary clubs at Kireka Home for Children with Special Needs to launch a project that restores safety, dignity, and mobility. Rotary has supported this school since 2002 by providing wheelchairs, beds, and care. We commissioned the reconstruction of secure perimeter walls and guided walkways to help children who need mobility support. When Rotarians come, we stay and make a lasting impact. #RotaryEyamba

Speaking at the meeting, NEMA’s Acting Executive Director, Mr. Francis Ogwal, commended stakeholders for their contribution and called for continued collaboration. Presentations, plenary discussions, and even a demonstration of an Organic Waste Management app are helping refine the strategy and shape the way forward. NEMA reaffirms its commitment to sustainable waste management as a pathway to environmental protection, climate resilience, and improved public health.
