Here’s one for you: Don’t change your debit/credit card during the season or they clobber you for your 10 bonus loyalty points. I requested a new card from my bank last week (as I could no longer read the numbers on it!) so when spurs attempted autopay for the Dortmund game (which is in 6 weeks) it failed. So I then get the following message from the ticket office on email: ‘As advised in our Cup Scheme update, participation is subject to payment for every home Cup game being successful. As we have been unable to collect your payment for this fixture, please note that you will now be removed from the Cup Scheme for the remainder of the season. your 10 bonus points will also be removed from your account. To attend other home Cup matches this season, you will have the opportunity to purchase your ticker on a match-by-match basis’ I’d been to every cup game this season before this happened, but due to a clerical error on my part they kick me off the autopay system and take away the bonus points (now called ticketing points not loyalty points ironically). My seat is £96 for Dortmund, they can sell it to someone else! Clearly my loyalty isn’t factored into the new system. Everything about the club stinks.
