@maxkarpis Totally agree. I just opened Revolut in Mexico and my TikTok earnings go directly there. They asked for info as a security check, I shared my tax details, and everything was restored. Revolut is a bank and must follow regulations.

Another post about Revolut restricting someone's account, 1M views, blah, blah, Revolut is bad. Here is my take, again: People do stupid things and get stupid results. Most such posts are light on details. They are all innocent, right?! Or did such a thing happen at all? Maybe it's a way to grow your follower count. I have many questions. As for Revolut, a regulated financial service. It would be cheaper for Revolut not look at these things, but it can't because regulation requires Revolut to find suspicious activity and investigate. I ask you to stop tagging me in such things.

Revolut Mexico massively expanded its credit card offering by raising the maximum credit limit from MXN 5,000 for eligible customers One customer showed recieving credit limit of MXN 350,000 ($20k). Also, users compliment Revolut's robust refund process. After a merchant agrees to issue a refund, the Revolut app shows when the funds will be credited to the account. Not a common feature in #Mexico. Revolut also extended its savings account offering to all users. It pays 13% annual interest up to MXN 25,000 and 6.75% above that amount. Joint accounts are available in the app but are not functional yet, pending launch. Also, Revolut launched a Travel Insurance offering to its customers. It offers coverage for medical expenses, flight cancellations, luggage loss, and even theft or assault near an ATM. Reported by @InversionesAld, who believes that #RevolutMX will soon be launched to all users. At the moment, only people on the waiting list are onboarded to the Beta service.

Revolut offers a credit card for Beta users* in Mexico, undercutting Nubank's 90.7% interest rates. All Revolut MX🇲🇽 cards are now compatible with Google Pay**/Apple Pay *** Also, it seems Revolut plans to offer 3 types of debit cards and 4 types of credit cards in MX, including World Elite and World types, all on the Mastercard network. Revolut MX credit card interest rates ~36% to 87% annually, depending on eligibility and have no fees whatsoever apart from the interest fee. Interest-free period up to ~50 days max, but details are limited. In comparison, #Nubank #Mexico $Nu credit cards have interest rates of ~ 90.7% annually and 142% if repaid interest only. It comes with no fees apart from interest and a late payment fee. For deferred payment (similar to BNPL) plans, the interest rate 14% to 59% annually. Cards come with up to a 40-day interest-free period and give 0.5% cashback on all purchases. Interest rates might be shocking🤯 for European and US readers.
