@elonmusk Controlled for 10 years, 7 in the Air Force 6 at one of the busiest bases in the Air Force, 1 year at Osan AB South Korea, and 3 years at Bagram Afghanistan. Never had an incident during my career yet Im driving trucks in the Oilfield in SW Texas.

There is a shortage of top notch air traffic controllers. If you have retired, but are open to returning to work, please consider doing so.

@elonmusk @realDonaldTrump It's also much more than that. Its a manning issue they are not hiring enough controllers at the same rate as the Reagan Era controllers are retiring. The process takes 8+ months and looks over highly qualified individuals.

Under the Biden administration, the FAA and other government agencies had absolutely insane hiring practices that endangered the public. President @realDonaldTrump and his team are working rapidly to restore competent personnel to all positions involving your safety.

When I visited the tower at a major airport a few years ago, I was shocked to learn this was the primary display that air traffic controllers used. It looks like the 1980s. We need major updates, but the tech is frozen, ironically due to aversion to risk associated with changes.

@RealJessica05 I could answer more of those questions as a 10 year veteran in Air Traffic Control yet I havent been able to get into the FAA for the last 4 years since leave Afghanistan.

@EndWokeness I might be in that case study. 10+ years of experience in the careerfield, and now I won't get my chance to get back in since I turn 35 this year, and I have been applying since I was 31.

@samtripoli I would be curious to what kind of "Radar" guy this is. As I was a Radar Approach Controller in the Air Force and in the FAA, they give full details of drills to keep civilians and planes safe. They aren't doing drills. He is trying to stir the pot.

ELON PREVENTS NUCLEAR WAR? Elon Musk covertly instructed his engineers to deactivate Starlink's satellite communications network during a MAJOR Ukrainian offensive. This action was taken to intentionally thwart a surprise attack by Ukraine against the Russian naval fleet. The Ukrainian submarine drones, armed with explosives, mysteriously lost connectivity as they advanced towards the Russian warships. Now we know that Musk intentionally deactivated Starlink. Ukrainian officials pleaded for the reactivation of the satellites, however Musk was concerned the attack could trigger a nuclear response from Russia. This fear was not baseless, as Musk had open discussions with high-ranking Russian officials not long before the attack. I’ve posted heavily about the dangerous rhetoric from Russia relating to a possible Nuclear attack on Ukraine, with Crimea being considered a Red Line. No matter which side of the war you’re on, we all want to avoid a nuclear conflict, and @elonmusk’s actions may have prevented just that. Do you think Elon did the right thing?
