Kilwinning YVS got the chance to carry out pump drills at Dreghorn Community Fire Station last week with @DanielB_SFRS A massive thanks to the crew at the station and all of the cadets that came along to further aid their development 🔥

Yesterday Kilwinning YVS developed their practical skills navigating confined spaces while remaining in contact with their search partner. After this activity, cadets were on the drill yard refining their hose running skills to close off the session. Every day we get better 🚒

Last drill night at Kilwinning YVS, SC Bilsland visited our youths and instructors. Our training isn’t just about working with fire service equipment and fire service PPE. It’s about developing standards on safety, teamwork, respect and innovation 🚒 @Scotfire_ENSA

It’s been an eventful few weeks at KilwinningYVS, taking on new recruits and getting outside to practice RTC incident training. YVS crews got the chance to practice vehicle stabilisation and a walk through demonstration of RTC incidents, procedures and practices.
