#OnePiece Not only is Mihawk stronger than Shanks now, but the fight is no longer close. It’s no longer a challenge for Mihawk. Shanks losing his arm was a significant nerf, and it diminished his potential and his ceiling. No one is saying Shanks is weaker now than he was with two arms. But he will never be as strong as he could have been had he kept both arms. And that two-armed version of Shanks that would have reached his full potential is how strong Mihawk is. Left peerless because his rival bet his own ambition on another.
