I want to clarify something bc I can see that some US ARMY felt hurt or personally attacked by my post,& that was not my intention. I'm not saying all US ARMY are entitled. I'm not saying US ARMY don’t deserve dates. I'm not saying US ARMY should feel guilty for getting dates.

I acknowledge that some US ARMY felt hurt by the way my post came across, while still standing by the main point: Wanting more dates is normal. Wishing another country had less so you can have more is not. This was never about hating US ARMY.

International ARMY are often expected to accept fewer dates, fewer opportunities, & more expensive travel without saying anything. So when we speak about the imbalance, it is frustrating to be told we are just jealous, bitter, hateful, or anti-US.

Not all US ARMY are like this. Many are kind, supportive, & understand how lucky they are. But the loud entitled voices make it exhausting for the rest of us.

And yet, when another country gets something for once, some people still complain like something was taken away from them. That is what people are reacting to. +++

First, let me be clear: We do not hate all US ARMY. We understand why the US is getting 26 dates. What many international ARMY are upset about is not the US dates themselves. It’s the sense of entitlement that sometimes comes with them. +++
