Clearly he was getting a ‘lot’ done so tenacity & hustle were used very well in all areas of his life, you can’t take that away from him. But, when it’s integrity & honesty that doesn’t cross into all areas of someone’s life, the person would definitely lose my high regard. Bit judgey I know but my moral compass has spoken.

Many years ago I met this billionaire I looked up to. I would occasionally reach out for life advice. I later discovered that he cheated on his wife with hookers pretty regularly. Did I still look up to him? There was a lot to learn from his tenacity and hustle, but I never, ever took marriage or relationship advice from him again. Just because someone is talented or successful does not make them fit for you to look up to in every arena of life. Some people still have a hard time digesting this. A hero can also be—and many times is—deeply flawed.
