🥁 Subjects with no bursary at all are in real danger of becoming the preserve of the wealthy - or at least those who have the opportunity to save the significant funds required to study & simultaneously undertake placements. Bursaries are needed to ensure equity of access. 1/

So, what should Government do? We think: - At least keep bursaries as they are - Keep shortage subject bursaries just below starting salary, while expanding ECPs - Increase bursaries for other shortfall subjects where bursaries are low (like recently for art, RE, music)
