Kim Georgeton for Lt. Governor of Ohio
Let’s talk H1B. In March 2024, I got a call. My job was gone. So was everyone else's. Infosys didn't replace one or two of us. They replaced the whole department. Every. Single. One. Their guy chose to keep his friends employed over American workers. This isn't a story. It's a playbook. Here's what they don't tell you about H-1B abuse in Ohio: → Ohioans have lost ~$300M per H-1B worker cycle → Wages drop tens of thousands per replaced job → That money doesn't pay Ohio rent. Doesn't hit Ohio restaurants. Doesn't pay Ohio taxes. It leaves. Infosys paid $34M settling federal fraud charges for exactly this. Now Vivek Ramaswamy wants to be Ohio's governor. The same man whose company used H-1B visas 29 times. The same man who told Americans we "venerate mediocrity over excellence." He got fired from DOGE partly for saying that. He says he wants to reform H-1B now. His record says otherwise. I'm running for Lt. governor because I know what it feels like. To be told your job, your team, your livelihood just doesn't matter. Ohio workers matter. Ohio paychecks should stay in Ohio. We will solve this. Share this. 🗳️ Vote @CaseyPutsch — May 5 📋 Register by April 6

x.com/BTT1024/status… Casey Putsch is not a Loon. He has the heart of a person wanting to make things better for others - Read in the linked post about "Genius Garage" that he started to educate young Americans about car design/engineering while also learning about work ethic and the fulfillment of taking ideas through all stages to a finished product. [Autoweek (Dec 29, 2020) - "The Genius Garage Is a Place Where Students Learn by Doing - Casey Putsch created it to take what you learn in school to the real world." link in attached post] He has a desire to share with others. He has an Anger about the way our country (and the state of Ohio) has been allowed to decline significantly at the hands of the Globalist Elites. Many of us share that same Anger, which sometimes comes out appearing to be "loony" - But, if you really take into consideration all of what the Globalist Elite have done to this country, the "loony" behavior is really not that "loony" at all. What is truly "loony" is the behavior of the Globalist Elites (politicians, CEOs, corporations, media).

Daniel, When calculating the value or impact of skilled immigration on the economy, GDP, national debt, etc. …Shouldn’t the cost of ALL trade offs be considered? For example, where do I enter the number of Americans who were replaced in their job by a cheaper imported foreign worker? And what those unemployed workers have cost us in social services? (Not to mention what it’s cost them & their families & their dignity) Where do I enter in the total dollar amount of US STEM workers’ wages that have been suppressed as a result of the mass importation of foreign white collar visa workers? Where do I enter the costs of what will happen when our US grads can’t pay back the $1.7 trillion in student loans because they are being locked out of the entry level job market by 240,000 OPT Visa workers every year? Where do we add in the 15% FICA taxes that aren’t being paid for & by those same entry level OPT workers? Can we add in a number that calculates the dollar value of the disappointment that 40% + of US STEM grads are experiencing because they are underemployed or out of work? And then add in the real societal costs of long term unemployment (drug abuse, divorce, etc) I could go on. Without considering any of these real world trade offs associated with the mass importation of foreign white collar workers, you can’t be taken seriously. Sorry to say, but this is totally bogus Big Visa propaganda bought & paid for by big biz.

same story for me - I was a manager at US Bank and there were meetings I was in that an upper C-level exec was ranting about how we MUST have an 80/20 mix of 80% offshore (India) and 20% onshore. theses C-level execs get flown to India to be wined and dined, and then over the years, guess what happens? Almost the entire tech stack (~10k workers) are H1B or overseas. They come in as contractors, move onshore, get perms jobs and green cards, then become managers and then hire their own staff - of H1Bs and offshore. these banks handle our private information and bank accounts and they are exposed and at risk.

@KimGeorgeton I work in big tech and for the last 10 years, my floor has become more concentrated in H-1Bs as the company lays off Americans. Every round, more H-1Bs and OPTs.

@KimGeorgeton Immigrants do pay taxes, but issue is, they ain't paying anywhere near what I pay because I don't just move on after I've taken advantage of benefits for 3 years. Benefits including public schools, hospitals, etc. Different situation for GC holders, but still want that limited.

@KimGeorgeton I work for DOT, they hire Indians and muslim engineers with visas instead of hiring American citizens. They also give promotions to Indians or Muslims with visas over American citizens. Students that graduatited with BS in Civil Engineering have no chances of getting a job.
