While Spring officially started yesterday, we have been experiencing spring-like temperatures all winter. We tracked 12 days reaching above 80°F this winter at San Diego International. To put that in perspective, that's greater than the last FIVE winters...combined (11 days).

The most extreme March heatwave in US history continues across the West today: Thermal/Indio – 108°F (ties US March record) Palm Springs – 107°F Yuma – 106°F Phoenix – 105°F Las Vegas – 95°F Denver – 85°F Salt Lake City – 81°F Woodland Hills – 102°F Santa Rosa – 92°F Flagstaff – 84°F Mammoth – 79°F Cheyenne – 79°F Pocatello – 77°F Hundreds of cities just recorded their hottest March temperatures ever, far too many to count in a single post. It will be even hotter tomorrow across the Mojave tomorrow with some locations potentially exceeding 110°F.
