Courtney Williams was wrong to leak information. But her complaint about sexual harassment should be fully addressed. In this case, I would advise she be released on her own recognizance, and that if found guilty of leaking classified information should receive a very light sentence, perhaps probation. Her complaints should be fully heard regarding sexual harassment and followed up on if there is collaborating testimony in her favor, all that should be brought to light, and the men involved should be sanctioned. This is a potentially explosive case as there’s plenty of room for blame on both sides, and yes, other combat veterans in Delta force have said things on podcast and an interviews that were classified information. This case is full of land mines and can backfire on the Administration very quickly if it is not fully addressed for equality of justice.
