@mellycrochets Prioritize mental health 🧠✨
Stress silently damages your body. Even 5–10 minutes of meditation, deep breathing, or journaling daily reduces anxiety, improves sleep, and strengthens immunity.

Takang Ayuk Igal aka TK (aka One Kind Guy) @tkthereal1
Sunrise: 4th of October 1996 – Sunset: 23rd of March 2026
TK lived a life characterized by a boundless curiosity for a better tomorrow, quiet kindness, and a relentless sense of humor that he shared with everyone he came across. Born on October 4th, 1996, TK grew up with his family and completed his primary, secondary, and tertiary education across various cities in Cameroon. He eventually worked as a teacher at Nembicol and INSET Bonchou college, where he was known for his strong work ethic and simple, easygoing lifestyle. He was deeply committed and never stopped smiling or cracking jokes, no matter the circumstances he found himself in.
However, his true passion often lay outside of work. He was dedicated to uplifting others and putting smiles on faces in his own unique way. He contributed morally and financially to numerous 237 Twitter community-building projects (such as orphanage visits and the MISS237X IDP Project) as well as social events (237X hangouts and football encounters). To those who knew TK best, he will be remembered for many things, but here on Twitter, we all saw his efforts to build the community we have today. His jokes, interactions, his banter during "violence days," and most importantly his campaigns against bad governance and efforts to sensitize youths to register and vote will never leave our memories. He was also incredibly passionate about football, whether it was the Cameroonian national football team/league or his beloved Manchester United. TK had a unique ability to make any Cameroonian new to Twitter feel welcome and valued.
TK fell ill in November 2025 and had since been treated at Mbingo Hospital in Douala and the Regional Hospital in Buea, where he was diagnosed with advanced stage liver disease. He was placed on medication (alongside traditional treatments, according to his family). He fought hard to get back on his feet and be a part of us again. It looked like he was recovering and getting stronger over the last couple of weeks, but in the early evening hours of Monday, March 23rd, TK finally succumbed to the pain and gave up the ghost. TK is survived by his mum, one older brother, two sisters, an extended family, and a wide circle of friends who considered him a brother.
A service to celebrate TK’s life will be held in the coming days and will be properly communicated once the program is finalized. As we celebrate the life of Takang Ayuk Igal, let’s take a moment to keep his family in our prayers and dig deep into our pockets to help clear some of his hospital bills and cover the burial costs.
Rest in perfect peace, TK. You will be deeply missed, One Kind Guy.🕊️
