Victoria Nuland and Biden were talking about “taking care” of the Nord Stream pipeline even before Putin sent troops into Ukraine. What exactly does Europe gain from its relationship with the U.S.? Safety? Security? We were far safer before the U.S. began dropping bombs in the Middle East and dragging us into their wars. I’m certain many Europeans share this view.
