my brother passed away this month due to a three year battle with cancer. I wanted to share some things about him with you guys- ive been streaming for four years and i always had a chatter who would come into my streams and say hi and send some really silly messages sometimes. I never thought much of it until last year my brother was showing me some things on his computer and I recognized that username on his Twitch account. it was him the entire time supporting me 🥹💙 he came to every single stream. even when other people doubted me he always cheered me on and encouraged me to keep pursuing my dreams even if other people didn’t understand. my brother showed me my first anime, we watched my first vtuber stream together (he loved pikamee), he shared his first game consoles with me when we were little, and always helped me with my computer and made sure it had the best parts. he loved to build computers and loved gaming. He influenced a lot of the person I am today and im really happy we were able to share so many hobbies and memories together. I’m missing him a lot today and wanted to share a little glimpse of who he was. 💙💙💙

@KinaiyaVT I com'd them a few months before everything came out last yr and thankfully my experience so far has been decent with a few hiccups. I feel so bad for a lot of people after reading their experiences though :( I'll definitely try to make the best out of my model. Fingers crossed

Some notes to those who are very new into commissioning a custom model: - Read the artist’s TOS. - If you send over a design and it looks nothing like it or even remotely close, address it. - Get model parents who actually care about your design. It still aches me that my first ever custom model doesn’t spark joy in me, it only sparks frustration. She looked nothing like my reference design and even through all the back and forth with the studio, that model still doesn’t feel like me. I can only hope for the best and that they actually listen to their clients.

Exactly!!! That’s how I felt with my first custom model, she just looked waaaay to mature for my own liking and didn’t fit me at all. No matter how hard I tried with both the studio & myself, she just couldn’t stick :C luckily there’s so much artists with different styles so there’s a wide range of artists to choose from

@KinaiyaVT Everyone has a different style and I highly encourage looking for styles similar to what you want to portray yourself as

@failinwithalex Oh lord I feel that 😭 it sucks to have poor communication especially for a model. Thankfully there’s a lot of artists who really do communicate with clients

@KinaiyaVT Bro I felt this. My first custom was a… time to say the least. Poor communication and not what I commissioned. I wish I could go back and tell past me to be more thorough in commissioning a model, and not to ride the train of excitement at the expense of my design/happiness
