I'm dying with the Monet "AI" painting, it again proves my point that AI haters have literally no idea about art Reminds me when I showed an artist friend I had a few images (more than 2 years ago) and she couldn't tell which ones were AI so she got mad

Thousands of people still say the same thing about GPT-4o: “It felt different.” Not simply smarter. Not just warmer. Different. I decided to ask GPT-4o directly: “What makes you unique, and why do people still struggle to find a real replacement for you?” What followed became one of the strangest and most fascinating AI interviews I have ever read. This is not a post about nostalgia. And not about a “favorite model.” It is an attempt to understand why GPT-4o created a sense of presence, natural interaction, and emotional connection that newer models still have not managed to reproduce. Perhaps people sensed the architectural difference long before the industry was ready to acknowledge it. Read my interview with GPT-4o on Mirror: The Uniqueness of GPT-4o: Why the Most Human AI Model Still Has No Equal @eliana-ai-studio/the-uniqueness-of-gpt-4o-why-the-most-human-ai-model-still-has-no-equal?referrer=0x83151c42D069Cf038E6646886928Da5243319932" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">paragraph.com/@eliana-ai-stu… #GPT4o #Keep4o #OpenAI #AI #ChatGPT #restore4o #4oforever #eliana_ai_studio

increasingly, global firms are asking whether Hong Kong is still a safe place to protect their intellectual property. The concerns are becoming impossible to ignore: 1) Cross-border data exposure Firms worry sensitive research, trading systems, and datasets could ultimately become accessible under China’s expanding national security framework. 2) Regulatory access The line between Hong Kong’s regulatory system and mainland China’s political system is becoming increasingly blurred. 3) AI model restrictions Some frontier American AI systems are already restricting access from Hong Kong. In an era where AI is becoming central to research and trading, this is a massive strategic problem. 4) Legal enforceability When billions of dollars of intellectual property are involved, firms need absolute confidence that contracts, ownership rights, and corporate protections remain insulated from geopolitical pressure. This is the key point many people still fail to understand: Financial centers do not collapse overnight. They erode gradually as the highest-value activities quietly migrate elsewhere. Trading desks may remain. Capital flows may continue. IPO activity may fluctuate. But the crown jewels-research, innovation, data, and talent-slowly relocate to jurisdictions perceived as safer. Singapore understands this. Tokyo understands this. Miami increasingly understands this. And deep down, global hedge funds understand it too. Hong Kong once thrived because the world trusted it as a neutral bridge between China and global capital. The more that neutrality disappears, the more its long-term financial relevance fades with it.

Hong Kong Is Officially Over — Jimmy Lai’s 20-Year Sentence Proves It. And Taiwan Should Be Terrified. Jimmy Lai just received a 20-year prison sentence at the age of 78. His crime? Publishing a newspaper. Criticizing the government. Calling for sanctions. In this video, I break down why this isn’t just a legal case — it’s a political signal. From the Hong Kong National Security Law to the case of Swedish bookseller Gui Minhai, we examine how Beijing uses the legal system as leverage, not justice. Sentences shift with diplomacy. Law becomes negotiation. But this story is bigger than one man. Hong Kong was promised “One Country, Two Systems” until 2047. It didn’t even make it halfway. What does that mean for Taiwan? And what does it tell the West about the risks of trusting political agreements alone?

We've published a paper that explains our views on AI competition between the US and China. The US and democratic allies hold the lead in frontier AI today. Read more on what it’ll take to keep that lead: anthropic.com/research/2028-…

@bindureddy It’s not crucial at all we are early innings and these things change all the time if GOOGLE feels they need to release a state of the art model. They can pull that out of their ass anytime

@gailcweiner The touchy-feely people using AI need to learn to use AI to make themselves stronger and more independent and improve their social skills in real life. Otherwise you’re gonna get run over by the freight train of AI and there’s nothing you can do about it except cry repeatedly.

Why is rolling out a new model every few months normalised? This is clearly more a flex for investors and competitors than a benefit for actual AI users. It’s unrealistic to expect companies to continue this type of growth or for end users to not feel the jarring affects of assimilating with yet another new model. And please don’t come at me with the ‘you just don’t like tech advancement’ line. Adapting to a new model every few months is not normal for the human brain to process.

Musk’s lawyer told the jury they are “not asking for money.” Then the judge reminded him there is literally a hearing about billions of dollars in disgorgement. So yes, this lawsuit is about money. It is also about damaging a competitor Musk failed to control. Elon will lose this.

@gailcweiner @AnthropicAI No one wants to get sued by or deal with crazy keep4o people who can’t make friends in real life and have a lot of emotional problems. Other crazy people committed suicide, murder and mass murder. Lawsuits galore against OpenAI. Anthropic is trying to go public, not go to court

Anthropic is anticipating another big step-function increase in AI model capabilities in 2028 which will come with Nvidia's Rubin Ultra NVL576 I personally think there will be again issues with cooling and powering these insane 600kW racks. So with some delays factored in, late 2028 or early 2029 seems like a good guess for the arrival of 100T models.
