You are getting rinsed if you think the government is helping you out by capping fares. Every time you change bus, you pay another £2. If a single bus goes directly from A to B, brilliant. £2. Real world: you change busses twice 'to pop' into town. Then go home. That's 6 busses, 6 fares. £12. Bus companies are immediately incentivised to plan routes forcing you to change busses. If you're smart AND do the math, you pay for an *old* full-day ticket anyway because it's cheaper. If you believe the government has discounted your journeys, you get robbed blind.

@severeengineer The difference is how much faster games evolved back then. PS3 is the console of games like GTA V and Skyrim which are in no way ‘retro games’ and still the newest and most popular entries in their respective franchises
