@DrWallkick @broskiFGC How much more is a character with that health in a volatile game like sf6 supposed to be nerfed? They destabilized him a bit by nerfing his movement, fireball safety and a little of his damage. Let’s see how it plays out first lol

@broskiFGC Akuma isn't quite where he needs to be but that they're adjusting stuff like his sweep and movement speed and Demon Flip is a good sign that they are paying attention to the right things. And I'm VERY happy with what Ryu got. Nothing flashy, just some safety tweaks.

overall i like this update, even if it feels like a couple characters got off scot-free, there's a lot of sensible changes here and generally it feels like the right direction for future patches

I’ve said Ryu is amazing now when the patch dropped , and I have several Ryu players in my mentions everytime I talk about who I want to use in tournaments Ryu being strong is taboo to them

@FGCFlash @NoMoreMrIceGuy_ I'm trying to think about who in SF5 without a reversal was meta relevant. Three who come to mind are Poison, Abigail and Kolin(no traditional one at least).

@NoMoreMrIceGuy_ Sf4 was really the only game where a DP was invaluable because you could make them safe especially early on when it turned into pressure.

This is not me saying James is wrong but I don’t think having an OD Reversal makes your character stronger. In this game, it’s not the deterrent that people think it is. I woke up EX Flashkick on Mizuha 3 times in a row. All successful. Still got throw looped 😂

Let everyone else go after these low-paying positions! You NEVER have to be the candidate that only targets low-paying, entry-level, minimum wage jobs. So many people are intimidated by dollar signs and fancy titles and will just full-on not apply for roles out of self-doubt.

Few days after the patch, I can say that i really like the direction the game is taking. Lower overall damages and reduced drive gauge punishes are my favorite changes. But... will it take three years for Akuma to be normalised ? Again?
