Yesterday's #Yorkshire moorland #sunset. My 1st walk on the moor since getting the results of my x-ray. No heel fracture but I do have thickening/calcifying achilles tendon & plantar fascia, which explains why weight bearing on that foot is so painful. Seeing physio next week.
It’s not every day that one gets to listen to a former British Prime Minister recite from memory the opening passages of The Iliad in Ancient Greek, with no notes, in response to a random question from an undergraduate—and all while wearing what appear to be Thomas The Tank Engine socks. But today was one such day.
My thanks to my good friend Brad LaMorgese for the opportunity to see the colorful and comic Boris Johnson speak tonight at the University of Dallas.
I've got a suspected fractured heelbone from a fall I had a couple of months ago, which the doctor said was "only plantar fasciitis". No wonder it's been hurting and getting worse. Awaiting formal x-ray result. To say I'm annoyed with the doc would be an understatement. 😡
I managed a walk yesterday - the first since I slipped in mud and hurt my arthritic ankle a couple of weeks ago. Great to get out there again! 😊

@Kinggrump Yes, I'm trying to think of positive things I can do. My health has been bad this year, but I've just started a regime which seems to have helped a bit. Also, I'm wanting to do more collage artwork. I still need to try to get out and take photos though - but my legs aren't good.
I had a bit of a fall yesterday while out walking. I've discovered the problem when you have arthritis is that it isn't just the bits you fall on that hurt, it's every single arthritic bone in your body. Ouch! 😖
