The KTS is inviting YOU to The Blue Canoes on April 1st from 8-late in the Wardy! The theme is wedding so show up in your best formal wedding attire for cake, themed cocktails, at least one marriage, and certainly some blue canoes! The awards show will commence at around 9 pm.

Since the University is closed tomorrow due to the severe weather, we have had to postpone the first night of Infringement Festival. All three performances of Soju have been rescheduled to February 12, 2024 at the same times. Please check your email if you had reserved tickets!

Infringement Festival will feature performances on Feb. 5 at 6 pm, 6:40 pm, and 7:20 pm in the Women's Washroom in the NAB basement and Feb. 6-9 at 7:30 pm in The Pit. $5 for students & $10 for the public. Link in bio to see the full performance schedule and to reserve tickets!

Auditions for the KTS’s production of ARCADIA, written by Tom Stoppard and directed by Sadie Quinn, will be held on Jan. 27 from 1-4 pm and Jan. 28 from 10 am-3 pm. The sign up sheet will be posted in the next couple of days on the bulletin board outside Prince Hall.

Auditions for Infringement are this Sunday, Jan. 21 from 12-4 pm in the Scotiabank Room! Sign up for a time slot at the link in our bio. You may prepare a monologue, but don't need to.

The KTS is now accepting proposals for our 2024 Winter Main Season. Prospective directors can find more information and the proposal form at the link in our bio. The deadline to submit proposals is January 7th at 11:59 pm. We can't wait to hear your ideas!

Submissions are open for King's Infringement Festival! Infringement is an annual celebration of student-written and -created theatre and art. Find the proposal form and more info at the link in bio. Make sure to email submissions to kingsinfringementfestival@gmail.com by Jan 12.

Want to learn more about Greek comedy before Classics in the Quad? Join Dr. Jure Gantar of the Dalhousie Theatre Department for Analyzing Aristophanes: a discussion of The Birds on October 13th at 7pm in the KTS lecture hall (NAB 2nd floor).

Auditions are open for our Fall Season, featuring SHE'S BEWITCHED, written & directed by Sophie Barnes & a French comedy directed by Colin Hutchison. Auditions are Oct. 14 from 10-12 & 2-3 & Oct. 15 from 10-4. The sign-up sheet will be posted early next week outside Prince Hall.

We are super pleased to announce that we have rescheduled our play reading with Special Guest Julia Lederer for this Wednesday, September 20 at 6:00 pm! Join us in the Pit to hear Julia read from her play (and now feature film) WITH LOVE AND A MAJOR ORGAN.

Since the university has decided to preemptively close campus tomorrow due to the impending severe weather, we unfortunately have to cancel our play reading with Julia Lederer. We are hoping to find time in the next week to reschedule this event, and will keep you updated.
