Lord's ticket prices have come under a lot of scrutiny, so thought I'd check what the cost is of day 1 of the Boxing Day Aus vs India Test at the MCG. Prices starting at $53 (£27). We've had hundreds of messages from people who would love to go to Lord's but can't afford to.

@henrymoeranBBC It’s not just Lords though. I’ve paid £104 for day 4 at the Oval later this week. And the fact the Oval doesn’t allow any food or drink to be brought in, and charges £8 a pint makes it an expensive day out (if the test even makes it that far)

Amazed to find out today that I wrote ‘one of the dumbest articles in decades’, ‘irresponsible journalism’ and ‘a major slight to readers’. All in one article, back in October. I know this because someone ‘with the most extensive background in teaching and writing than anyone else in the world of financial planning’ took the time out of his day to email me. Fun times! 😄

This is why they call it the ‘red eye’…flying overnight and then directly into the rising sun. Last night we followed a couple of jets across the Atlantic. We are separated by altitude but we can also randomly select an offset to the right of 1 or 2 nautical miles from the planned track. We chose 1 last night and were following these ‘rail tracks’. #pilot #pilotlife #flying #avgeek

No one understands power of attorney. I didn’t until I started trying to use it. I rang a bank last week to tell them I had activated and was using it, and they put me through to their bereavement team.
