@BBCGlos Kingsway parkrun is still on this morning @9am from the sports pavillion opposite Asda.

The fair is in town so we are taking a break for one week only, so no free weekly timed event in Kingsway this Saturday. Don’t let that stop you though as there are plenty of others to choose from - just don’t choose Wotton as they are off too! #loveparkrun

Update!! Sorry parkrunners & volunteers! We’ve taken the decision to cancel today’s event! After a course inspection we’ve decided conditions are too slippery for a safe event! Check other events in close proximity as well for cancellations!!

@parkrunUK Update from Kingsway - sadly our course is unsafe to run this morning, the snow from yesterday has not cleared and frozen overnight. Please check the position of other local events @cityparkrun @GlosNparkrun before travelling. Sorry, it your safety is our priority

At the moment we are planning to be open for business in the morning. However, we will carry out a course inspection at 8am. The course is clear of snow but could be icy in places. We hope for an above freezing night. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 #hopeforparkrun #dfyb
