We are thrilled to announce that The Waif — the breakout winner of Kinolime’s 2024 Screenplay Competition — has officially found its director. BAFTA-nominated filmmaker Stephen Fingleton (The Survivalist, Nightride) is set to helm the project, bringing his unique vision to Adam Hampton’s genre-bending script. Voted on by the public, The Waif is slated to head into production later this year. ⁉️We are also going to do a Q&A with the director, so if you have any questions that you’d want to ask him, drop a comment here so we can put it on the list. ❤️Lastly, we just want to say thank you so much to the Kinolime community.
