Simply listening to someone you disagree with makes you “dangerous.” It’s not violence they’re afraid of. It’s losing control of the narrative.

@MountainGRRL68 @Banned_Bill I don’t mind debate. But when people resort to name-calling and mocking faith, it proves the argument is over. Evil is still a choice, and the one who commits violence is responsible.

Matthew Dowd on MSNBC suggests it's CHARLIE KIRK'S FAULT HE WAS SHOT: “[He is] constantly sort of pushing this sort of hate speech, aimed at certain groups. And I always go back to, hateful thoughts lead to hateful words, which often then to hateful actions.”

@MountainGRRL68 @Banned_Bill I’m truly sorry for what your nephew has gone through. No one should face that kind of trauma. My point isn’t to dismiss pain — it’s to keep blame where it belongs: on the shooter who chose violence.

@KirkTaylorCom @Banned_Bill I’ll alert my nephew that you think I’m victim blaming as he cleans the blood off his clothes. He disagrees with you, btw, & it was part of his consideration process while he was interviewing.

@MountainGRRL68 @Banned_Bill My faith isn’t a panacea, it’s a foundation. And yes, I see good and evil as black and white—because violence is evil, and the blame belongs to the one who commits it. That’s my last word on this.

@KirkTaylorCom @Banned_Bill Your commitment to your own inferences doesn’t allow for bifurcated beliefs. That’s probably why you chose organized religion to be your panacea. Very black and white.

@MountainGRRL68 @Banned_Bill MLK wasn’t killed because of his words—he was killed because an assassin chose evil. Same with Kirk. We honor victims by putting blame where it belongs: on the killer.

@MountainGRRL68 @Banned_Bill Resorting to insults isn’t “bicameral thinking.” It’s just avoiding the point: violence is the killer’s choice, not the victim’s.

@MountainGRRL68 @Banned_Bill Unstable people don’t need “permission” from words to do evil—they make that choice themselves. If we blame rhetoric for violence, we excuse the killer. And I won’t do that.

@KirkTaylorCom @Banned_Bill Maybe you can imagine someone unstable being “triggered” by someone saying they shouldn’t exist? That they’re a danger to the country? Yeah, genius, extreme rhetoric from any side breeds hostility in some people. You didn’t have to take psych 101? Jeesh.🤦🏻‍♀️

@MountainGRRL68 @Banned_Bill I’ve been through that struggle—and I overcame it. That’s not a weakness, it’s a strength. My past doesn’t change the point: blaming the victim of violence is wrong.

@KirkTaylorCom @Banned_Bill One would think that you of all people could understand the pain that slurs cause. Congrats on establishing your identity. Did you love getting metaphorically (I had to add that because, jfc you can’t think in a bicameral way) kicked while you were in that process?

@MountainGRRL68 @Banned_Bill Evil doesn’t need a spokesman. The shooter pulled the trigger—no one else. Blaming the victim isn’t an argument, it’s an excuse.

@MountainGRRL68 @Banned_Bill Explaining & justifying can blur together here. When someone shifts blame from the shooter to the person shot, that is a form of justification. Violence is the shooter’s choice, period. Dowd—& now you—are deflecting responsibility away from the criminal act.

@MountainGRRL68 @Banned_Bill You’re missing the point. Even if you dislike Kirk’s views, blaming him for getting shot is twisted. That’s what Dowd did—and that’s what I called out. Disagree with Kirk all day, but justifying violence by saying “he had it coming” is not only dishonest, it’s dangerous.

@KirkTaylorCom @Banned_Bill Do think saying “I wouldn’t fly on a plane if the pilot was black” is racist, or nah? How about saying that the Civil Rights Act was the worst decision in American history? That Islamic Americans are a threat to the country? Any bells ringing for you?

@JackxJewell His justification isn’t about truth—it’s about not liking himself & chasing an identity he's not. It’s not about anyone else. Charlie stood up because he loved people enough to have real conversations—even with those who hated themselves and projected that hate onto him.

“You don’t have to like violence, but I’m confused at how you thought the revolution would be magically bloodless.” Marxists end up seeing murder of their opponents as collateral damage for the “greater good.” Sickening individual. And no, disagreeing with trans ideology doesn’t mean he wanted you dead, you moron.

@MountainGRRL68 @Banned_Bill If all you’ve got is an insult and a vague dismissal, that’s not much of an argument. If you really think I’m wrong about Dowd, lay out your reasoning instead of name-calling.
