So I’m in Skid Row, and I get flagged down by two brothers guiding an elderly man who was blind. Even with a walker, the man could barely move. I asked if the man was okay, and the two brothers said, “Joseph, this man shouldn’t be down here.” I exited my patrol car and spoke to the man. I asked him what he was doing downtown. He said, “I wanted some coffee. Someone told me they have good coffee here. Can you take me to 5th and Wall? I heard they have good coffee there.” I responded, “Well, I never heard that, sir. Where are you from?” He replied, “Rancho Cucamunga.” I was shocked. “How did you end up here, sir?” He said, “I got on a bus, and I guess the driver missed my stop. I told him to take me to get coffee. Someone said 5th and Wall. Can you take me?” I obliged and took him three blocks away to the store he heard about with the amazing coffee wanted to gain his trust. I asked if he had family. “I stay with my sister in Rancho.” He gave me the address as I escorted him from my car into the mini mart. I bought him some coffee and made it the way he asked. He asked me, “I don’t want to take the bus here. I think there is a bus stop at 5th and Hill. Can you take me?.” I drove him to 5th and Hill and stalled him a bit while I did some investigating. Turns out, he was actually missing for a couple of days. In his mind he had just left the house for a spell. I called his sister who reported him missing. She was relieved to hear he was found. I didn’t want him taking the bus in his condition; he could barely walk. So I drove him from DTLA to Rancho. The ride was about an hour, so I put on some old school soul and pushed on. I was bumping back-to-back bangers: The Isleys, Frankie Beverly, The Spinners, The Moments, The Jacksons, Al Green, Marvin, and Curtis. Aretha, The Emotions. The playlist shuffled perfectly and was fire!!! He was really quiet the whole ride, with the exception of one moment when he said, “You make the best coffee. It’s perfect.” Then he went silent again. I would look back every now and then to see if he was okay. We finally arrived at his home. I said to him, “Hope the ride was okay.” He replied, “I tried to go to sleep, but I just couldn’t.” I asked why, and he said, “Your music.” I apologized, thinking it was too loud for him. He said, “No, no. It was fine. I haven’t heard those songs in decades. It was wonderful. I didn’t want to miss the next song. Such good music. I felt like I was in my 20s again. Thank you for your kindness, the delicious coffee, and the memories.”

Today… I sold an old car that doesn’t have an engine… 🤭 For a rooster, coup, and a hundred bucks 😂 Mind you this transaction happened in my barn while drinking moonshine in jars… God I love the country… Today was a good day. Amazing really… ☺️

This miraculous Search and Rescue Operation comes in addition to a successful rescue of another brave Pilot, yesterday, which we did not confirm, because we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation. This is the first time in military memory that two U.S. Pilots have been rescued, separately, deep in Enemy Territory. WE WILL NEVER LEAVE AN AMERICAN WARFIGHTER BEHIND! The fact that we were able to pull off both of these operations, without a SINGLE American killed, or even wounded, just proves once again, that we have achieved overwhelming Air Dominance and Superiority over the Iranian skies. This is a moment that ALL Americans, Republican, Democrat, and everyone else, should be proud of and united around. @Jellenne Been there. Had to have platelet replacement during cancer treatment. Told me they couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't be vax free and that I wouldn't make it if I didn't take it. Tough choice.

This is a serious issue. I don't want a blood transfusion from someone who took multiple jabs/boosters much less just one

WE should not forget him... There is NO reason for him to remain in jail. - If he is a crook,. given the nature and the small sum, why keep him in a special confinement for so long.
