We have had a great week. We have enjoyed our Easter egg hunt with the help of year 6. We made Easter nests and have bee working hard on our handwriting. Have a lovely Easter holidays. 🦋🌈🐣

We have had a super week looking at the Life Cycle of a butterfly. We have been looking after our plants and tasted cress today. We danced like butterflies and discovered symmetry in maths. #achieving @Discovery_Hyde 🦋

We have had a super week planting and learning about the life cycle of a bean. We enjoyed looking for signs of spring on our walk. We read Jasper’s Beanstalk and made our own bean stalks and measured how tall they were. #achieving @Discovery_Hyde 🙌🌟🫘

We have a fun World Book Day. The children enjoyed being in their house teams. They all enjoyed the book hunt, drama and great stories. They all looked amazing g and had a lot of fun!

This week we a special visitor in Nursery baby Miya. We learnt all about what a baby can do and compared this to what we can do now. We have been weighing and measuring the babies in the clinic. #discovering @Discovery_Hyde 😍🙌🌈

We have been learning about the human lifecycle. We enjoyed shari g pictures of us as babies compared to now. We weighed the babies in maths and talked about heavy and light. #discovering @Discovery_Hyde ❤️🙌🌈

We have had an exciting week. We have been learning how to look after ourselves and had a visit from nurse Charlie. We looked at our local community and identified environmental print, looked at signs and numbers and went shopping for treats. #discovering @Discovery_Hyde ❤️🙌🌈

We had a great morning exploring the instruments and singing our favourite nursery rhymes. We went on a shape hunt and sorted the shapes into groups and talked about their properties. #achieving @Discovery_Hyde 🙌🤩

We have had a super week Learning about the role of a dinner lady. We enjoyed our Chinese party this morning and danced like a dragon. This afternoon we enjoyed turn taking and singing with Mrs Mayers. #achieving @Discovery_Hyde ❤️🤩🌈🌟

We have had fun celebrating Chinese New Year in our Chinese restaurant.We learnt to use chopsticks and pick up the noodles. #discovering @Discovery_Hyde 🐍🐒🐐🐕🐖🐎🐅🐀

What a super Monday we had a visit from Mavis and Malcom from the theatre company 2boards and a passion. We sang songs and loved watching the show with so many of our grown ups. Thanks for joining us @Discovery_Hyde #inspiring ❤️🌈

What an exciting week we have had! We opened up our hospital and have seen some kind and caring nurses. We have been blending in phonics and learning new phonemes. We have loved role playing outdoors too. 🌈🤩❤️

Today we met Paddington Bear and he told us about his London adventures. We helped him to draw a map of London. We opened our hospital and looked after each other. Outdoors we went to the train station and bought tickets to visit London. #inspiring @Discovery_Hyde 🐻🙌🤩
