@allynewalsh No, they are a for-profit business... related to this new garden, they contributed the funds for the new bushes in the design. We also hold our monthly garden club meetings in meeting space there. 🙂

🌱 Thanks to members and friends who donated plants, bulbs, seeds and labour for the new perennial gardens at @aberdeengardens on Dundurn Street along side the @dundurnmarket patio.

We also learned about worm #composting and ate gummy worms. Also super fun.

I walked into our @KirkendallGC meeting tonight to find this beautiful display of gratitude from Abderdeen Gardens for the beds our members planted and maintained for them this summer. This is what community is all about. We get way more back in ❤ than we put in.

Some of our members attended the William Dam Seeds @DamSeeds trial gardens tour last evening. Interesting to see both award winners as well as new varieties being tested against current standard varieties. Lots of great plants we would love to have in our gardens. 💚🌱🌻
