Today marks the anniversary of the bombing of @KirkstallForge on 27th August 1942. 5 lives were lost that night – Arthur Bedford, George Grice, George Shepherd, Walter Sutherby and George Thompson. We will remember them. #aforgeintohistory

Fettered Forge, traditional blacksmiths, will be joining us at @KirkstallForge Heritage Open Day on 18th September 10am – 4.30pm. They’ll be demonstrating heritage forging techniques & telling us how forges worked in years gone by. #aforgeintohistory #HODs
