Does Trump want a nuclear deal or a “nonnuclear deal” which could mean leaving the nuclear issue out of the deal? Iran is said to be proposing a deal on opening the Hormuz Strait and leaving the nuclear issue to be negotiated later. That would be a “nonnuclear” deal. Trump has already bombed Iran twice, decapitated its top leadership, sunk its navy, obliterated its nuclear sites, threatened to reduce the country to the Stone Age and wipe out its civilisation. That was being a Nice Guy? It is bizarre that public diplomacy should be degraded to this level at the highest levels of the state. @jaketapper
