@Linda11192874 Mom says she has a list of grievances with the Broncos. Something about Elway refusing to play for the Colts. Sounds like she won’t let me and she told me I’d have to find a new home if I cheered for the Patriots. 😬 She said it’s illegal in Indiana. *shrug*

If you want a puppy to have good leash manners, it's important to give them sniff time. Sniffing calms the dog and helps them understand their environment so they can be more confident. It's really hard to pay attention to a human when the environment is very exciting. After a few minutes of sniffing, it's typically much easier to keep a dog engaged for a little while. Baby Rottie Kenji has pretty good leash manners for a young pup. He's even starting to master the auto sit. His normal routine starts with sniff time in the front yard, then a few minutes of walking in a heel with lots of handler engagement until he gets to another good spot and stop for sniffs and exploring. Then another few minutes of loose leash heeling with some obedience practice like sits, downs, and circling, until he gets to another good sniff spot. This makes his walk a good mix of some structured training, handler engagement, and mental enrichment. 🎥 Kenji demonstrating sniff stops #PuppyTraining
