@gthielmann But- a 'smaller' bctf with less dues means less services for members, less $ for international solidarity work (so important imo), & less in the 'war chest' for when our contract runs out.

At the heart of this recurring issue (setting the fee for member dues) are opposing philosophies of whether we want a bigger vs smaller BCTF organization, as well as the ongoing debates on whether member fees are spent equitably and prudently.
