On a surgical ward, following implementation of automated dispensing cabinets, the time taken to retrieve each med went from 98 to 47 s. Across various wards, the # of locations visited to obtain all meds for each patient was reduced from 1.73 to 1.04. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
