Losing an affordable nursery that supports working parents will force many (likely women) to leave the workforce due to unsustainable childcare costs & household incomes will go down. It leads to a poorer community that ultimately the council may have to support #SaveBrightStart

One day, the money will be there again, but will Bright Start? Will other essential community assets? What will have happened to the Bright Start families in the interim? How can this damage be done by a council that claims to be progressive?

Scapegoating paramedics working under incredible strain to hold our crumbling NHS together is fooling no one. The blame for patient safety failures lies squarely with the Tories, who have run our health service into the ground through privatisation, underfunding & mismanagement.
