@DigitalWatches Yeah for sure. I think adaptations of anything interactive really can't solve the issue of matching the investment that is being the player easily unless they start with being an engaging story first and an adaptation second, but that can also alienate the intended audience.

@DigitalWatches There's no climax without resolution and a serial, especially a fg, can't by nature have that. But then again I still like KOF story so maybe I'm full of shit 😂

@DigitalWatches --the only real solution to which is to reboot constantly (look at comics, MK, etc). I think in general fg's moving away from that individual storymode format and going towards one big streamlined story is actually a net negative.--

@DigitalWatches Agree.... fg's always have that same narrative issue any long running iterative series has where you have to keep building newer bigger villains that once they started building past the character story format of the XX series became really apparent,
