We’ve officially broken the 1000 people marker! That’s 1000 people in poverty who we have managed to provide gear to to get them outdoors! This is a real celebration for all of the outdoor community for allowing this to happen!

Last week we had a real bumper week of donations coming in and clothing & equipment going out. In total we had 117.1 kg’s of donated goods come in throughout the week & an incredible 201.5 kg’s / 536 items head out to new homes. Thank you to everyone who allows this to happen

Some nice feedback we have received over this last week

Did you know that we cover the whole of the UK? We have recently sent some outdoor equipment & clothing over to Northern Ireland, which means we can officially say that we have provided support in all four home nations 🇬🇧

This weeks stats: Donations in (first picture): 14kg Gear sent put (second & third pictures): 98.75kg Number of recipients: 19 This has been one of our busiest weeks in terms of requests for support coming in & the shear number of gear going out!

We love being able to provide a specialist service where we can keep this gear within the community it’s designed to serve. Keeping it out of the generic secondhand market & reducing the impact of useable gear ending up unnecessarily in landfill. 🌍♻️

Today marks the first day of volunteers week. Kitsquad is run completely by volunteers. About 30% of the UK population volunteer at least once a month. Giving your time for free is one of the most treasured things that you can give.

Meaning that we continue getting more people outdoors and continue to offer a scheme where surplus gear can be responsibly recycled, reused or renewed. This month prize draw will be drawn on Thursday 1st June and we hold a prize draw every month. 4/5
