While I am overjoyed that there is potentially a new Tournament Host for girl comp, I would like to mention that @femaleplayersTN has a history of blocking Trans Women from competing. Whatever their reasoning may be, the messages that are created are more than just saying that trans women aren't women. It also says to CIS girls or anyone born AFAB that they will never be able to compete against AMAB players, purely because of how they are born.  We know this isn't true, as the lack of T1 girls stems from social dynamics and the exclusion from opportunities purely from being girls. We, as players and a community, have the choice to decide which messages are spread and supported. Allowing events that create harmful messaging could be a step in the wrong direction for true equality in gaming. While it may seem like just one tournament, the lasting effect could become something bigger. And with the progress that @GonnaNeedMilk and @erenaGG have made over the past 5 years, we shouldn't take any steps backwards.  If you'd like to play in their events, go ahead, but you should at least be aware of the message you could be sending to those around you.
